Status Updates From Beau Bones

Goodness, this is so weird. I'm kind-of carbon-dating myself because the whole "how-many-twitter-followers-do-you-have" is really not my scene but then again, the book gets a time stamp as well because in 2029 people are going like "WTF is twitter and why should I care?"

Disjointed and cryptic. Those were the words I was looking for when I made my last update. And I'm still confused, because it feels like I was dropped into the middle of the story. Given that, why am I enjoying it so much? Hell if I know. But it's keeping me off-balance and making me laugh every other page, so I have no complaints. :P

I'm still a little puzzled here -- about the story, the characters, the backstory, the motivations, you name it. I don't know whether that's because the story is A) mysterious and deeply-layered, or B) erratic and haphazard. But in all honesty, I don't care. Because I'm enjoying it. :)

I borrowed this from KU earlier today, but just now returned it and bought my own copy. It's only 99 cents on amazon, and I've already gotten at least 99 cents worth of entertainment from it -- so it seems only fair to buy it outright.
