Starting to get a little Nathan Drake vibe from Bodie now. I’m certainly interested to find out who is trying to kill him and what he did to deserve that. I’m also curious as to what Baltasar is up to and who he works for.

Just encountered Bodie who appears to be an inmate of a Mexican prison. His attitude towards the place and people reminds me very much of Kaz Brekker from the Grishaverse. Always the smartest person in the room and very capable when it comes to hand to hand combat.

After reading two chapters I’m getting Da Vinci Code vibes from Baltasar. He reminds me very much of Silas the monk that was being used by the cardinal to carry out his bidding.
