The nazi friends are fascinating and honestly “what would you have done” is so real but not any less depressing. Part 2 is kinda wack though. Feels like half baked theories based on disjointed pieces of history or random notable Germans/jews. And this coming from a non-native German I don’t know if I put much stock in it… interesting though.

Men rarely meeting the state and only concerned about their day to day life sounds eerily like my mom’s philosophy… blah. Censorship being a key component to maintain that I wonder if today’s algorithm/echo chamber serves the same goal…. Loved this quote “there’s two countries in every country”
