Done with chapters I, II, IV, and VIII from Bentham’s ‘Principles of Morals and Legislation’

Starting on chapter 1 of Bentham’s ‘Principles of Morals and Legislation’ for my Ethics class.

*Page numbers are off because I can’t find my exact edition.

The first part of the book is entitled "Selections from Bentham's Principles of Morals and Legislation." At this point, I'm through the original preface to Bentham's work. As you can imagine, I quite agree with the prefacer's warning that the subsequent chapters might be quite "arid."
