Giving up, this book is worthless. Sigh

110 pages in and there's finally a tutorial. Too bad it seems to be missing some steps, I can't get past the first page of the tutorial, no matter what I do, I can't make revolve work. Sigh, I'm almost ready to quit this book. I've tried the steps 15 times now and can't replicate what I see in the book.

Still no step by step tutorials for making a specific object.

Still haven't learned how to create anything yet, all the author's done so far is explain capabilities - not how to use them to create something specific. It's all high level right now, here's how the tools work. Teach me by showing me how to make something.
