Status Updates From The Calling

I'm getting big Vampire the Masquerade vibes. The Light is totally the Camarilla and the Dark is the Anarchs.

I don’t know this for fact, but I feel that Juliet is a lying liar who lies.

So far the only obvious major plot event has been the beginning of Duncan’s initiation into this immortal society, and I’m at 38%. From the blurb, I’d expect to already be well through the teaser and on my way toward a midpoint climax but I’m not. It’s been (unnecessarily) slow and I can’t see a purpose to it. Time will tell but I’m thinking this wasn’t plotted as tightly as it could have been.

New twist on vamps. I like it!
