extremely condensed and simplified to make it palatable for readers such as myself. I can appreciate Jane Eyre more as an adult, but I REFUSE to be abused by Wuthering Heights anymore than I've already been tortured! Looking forward to Anne Bronte's works.

Attempting this strictly for Emma M Lion. I haven't gotten along with Jane Eyre nor Wuthering Heights in the past no matter how hard I've tried.

I can't get the version I'm listening to on Spotify to work here on Goodreads but this version is pretty good. Pared down, but good for a reread.
