A lot of game tie-in fiction is not great. This one's pretty fun. Of course I'd wish they'd ditch the meta game stuff (it feels like the wizards in this world wouldn't group by color like is done in the game for game mechanics reasons) but the characters are interesting and Primata Delphine having no idea she's a sorcerer while persecuting sorcerers is a neat hook.
