Read "Red." Interesting change of pace for one of these stories, set back from the present as it is.

I guess I forgot to update last night but I read "Native Sandstone" and now just read "Ranch Girl."

Read "Four Lean Hounds, ca. 1976." Definitely did tear up a little, but then I do always cry at funerals.

For the next little bit I'll be doing Maile Meloy stories--been meaning to watch Certain Women for a bit now, and seeing as both collections that formed the basis for the film are in my library, I'd get around to it now. Read the story from this collection that got adapted: "Tome." Immediately I love the writing style, I'm hooked. I honestly would read more if it weren't 12:30 (isn't that a familiar phrase?
