"In the future, you might want to give a girl a little credit for knowing her own mind," she advised Castillo quietly. She clenched her fists together, one wrapped over the other. Then with another deep breath, she swung sideways with all her might to slam Castillo in the gut. Damn the man, he didn't budge. he didn't even gasp. No matter. It was the gesture that counted.

- WTF? Did you just punch him? o.O

"By being clever? Yeah, it usually works."

- You're not clever.

"I suppose. Ballet, jazz, tap, I did it all." She smiled against his chest. "I was good."

"How good?" he asked.

She laughed at the innuendo, then shrugged.

OKAY. Every joke, or "witty repartee" or whatever in here just falls completely flat. And the author keeps trying to convince me that what the characters are sayin is HILARIOUS and I'm like: "No."

It wasn't his looks or amazing sexual prowess that made women love him. Sure, those probably factored in, but he knew it had more to do with the simple fact that he wasn't a jerk. He respected women. Respected their choices.

Why was she freaking so much? Who said those guys who'd trashed her place were anything more than sloppy burglars? Castillo had probably played off the incident to get her into that hotel room. The guy was buddies with Phillip. Yet another rich frat boy out to get lucky.

- Oh, jeez. To top it all off this woman is a A1 First Class moron. Ugh.

Once a guy knew you were thinking about his dick, he was all about whipping it out as if it was some kind of conversation piece.

"Sweetheart, you've got a hot body and a gorgeous face. Let's keep them safe, okay?"

- I'm really starting to dislike this hero.

Dominic knew perfectly well the best way to get a woman to do what he wanted was to agree with her. It didn't put them in a friendlier mood, per se. Mostly it tended to make them suspicious, and they ended up doing things his way out of sheer contrariness.

Was it any wonder he loved them?

Dominic loved women. Strippers, dancers, teachers, nurses. He'd dated them all. His only requirement was that the woman take the relationship as light and easy as he did.

He'd heard plenty of times that his sex life was better than most guys' fantasies.

- I've said it before and I'll say it again: loving women IS NOT the same as loving to have sex with women.
