I was kind of expecting for the sister to be the killer but I couldn’t find out any clues as to how, but I’m glad on how the plot twist was laid out! Love the illustration at the end too now that I get that the bear to raccoon is meant to look like a cape! Love how it’s beautifully laid out in the end. ❤️

I’ve already finished Ayama and the Thorn Wood, and honestly, I am deeply in love with the message here. As a new reader, I never come across with royalties being the antagonist all along—but this one HOOKED me and answered all of my questions in an instant! I’m deeply inspired with the overall message and also how the characters are! I’m so excited to read the Too-Clever Fox now!! :D
