Fast-forwarding to the Gospels before going back and resuming my linear Genesis-to-Revelation readthrough. Is that cheating? Skipping to the juicy stuff? Eating the icing off of the cake? Idk.

Completed the entire NT. Now working through Exodus.

What started as “let’s read the KJV because of its impact on classic literature” turned into “let’s also read academic Biblical analysis” turned into “why not throw in the NRSV, too?” and now I’ve got a real If You Give a Mouse a Cookie situation on my hands right now.
