I am livid over the fact that Tyler Li, the only Asian character in this series (so far), is (1) framed as the only intolerant jerk, (2) is implied to be a jerk because he's physically abused by his father, and (3) is mocked by the (white) protagonist of the previous book for being physically abused by his father.
