Status Updates From The Mammoth Book of Women's...

I want to take some of these stories out and put them in a "serious" anthology. 'Jack Kerouac, My Lover' for instance has sexual elements, but I feel it's about more than sex. There's something interesting thoughts about his writing. It's a bit awkward that I was quoting out of the story to my mum while discussing antiheroes, wondering where I had read it and then suddenly realising 'oh, that's a bit embarrassing.'

I was really intrigued by the concept, but some are really disturbing. "Breakfast with Tiffany" is probably the weirdest sexual fantasy I've ever read.

I find that reading this too much can burn a girl out! I'd be more inclined to like this book, if I read it a couple chapters here & there.

so far... some are good, some so so, one was not my kind of stuff at all.
