Status Updates From Jealousy / In the Labyrinth

Done with Jealousy. I have been enchanted. This is one hell of a book to have viewed. A lick of things I’ve never dared tasted. Pieces of it have caught onto my body. It’s an apparatus that works together, only giving an illusion if separate components. I am just si enamored. Wow

woooo finally getting into the shit! Always loved his movies but his writing is also up just my alley. I really like how he describes things. "Their four hands"? Charming so. Even the setting, the elaborate exposition and all. it feels like a disciplined world humans are too fickle to live in yet he has them in there.

Picking up the pace

10 pages was all I could manage right now, for I’m currently sick, & because Robbe-Grillet is the most tedious thing to read when virtually everything exacerbates your condition—for the record: In the Labyrinth is great so far, it’s a change of scenery.

I have picked up the pace after losing 2 days to afternoon exhaustion & other work—Jealousy is now complete; I will begin In the Labyrinth.

I will be finishing the 1st novel in the book by tomorrow 👍🏽, but I’ll review it (along with the 2nd) when I’m finished with the entirety of the book.
