I recognize the orishas mentioned so far in the stories and am intrigued to read further.

"A Bird of Ice": what a stunning story.

So far, a wildly inventive and beautifully written collection of short stories. I want to re-read this in print to savour the stories. I feel like I'm not getting enough of a chance to linger with the audiobook.

Every time I listen to this, I'm blown away by the imagination and writing.

Well these stories continue to be beautifully written and amazing.

Wow, this book continues to be trippy and cool. The last story was about a boy who begins to see visions of relatives who have passed away and people's auras after a longstanding illness with fever. It's as if the fever hallucination never goes away...

Wow, these stories are so inventive!

I've just listened to the first story in the audiobook version, and damn, gorgeous writing. Am excited to 'read' more!
