Status Updates From Murder by the Book (Beyond ...

Well I must say I had my doubts in the beginning of this novel because I couldn't connect to the characters as I didn't know enough about them. The story was moving quickly. I'm excited to say that all the pieces began to fall together as the story progressed. An excellent exciting new series with lots of twists & turns!

This is an interesting mystery but the main characters don't have enough depth to them. So far its a story but I don't feel a connection to anyone them. A big question I have is what is the main character's story and why is her last name a big deal in this small town? That's a question I feel I needed to know before page 95?
