Sort of went backwards, from Son of Prophecy (Henry VII rising to king from his Welsh ancestors) to Pretenders (Henry again, consolidating his realm from the Yorkist pretenders) and now reading about the Beaufort Line, from bastard sons of John of Gaunt (and grandchildren of Edward III) to ancestors of Henry VII on his mother’s side.
