The whole reading is about understanding the title. You get the answers and you will realise why it is God of Small things.

Writing is so immersive and mesmerising. The attention to details surely justified by it won 1997’s Booker Prize.

Felt fitting to read this after reading Roy’s memoir.

It’s nice to have gained insight into her life - including the writing and reception of this book - and see how it influences or is reflected in what I’ve read so far.
