Status Updates From Space Opera (Space Opera, #1)

Very much word vomit, but there’s actually plot now in between exposition about various alien races and winners/losers of previous musical hunger games, so it’s improved slightly and I’ve decided I will finish it

I’m struggling through this but I feel like it’s my problem not the book’s

The first 3.5-4 chapters were hard to get through, not gonna lie. Lots and lots of word vomit. I think we’re making a breakthrough though, now that the needless exposition is done

So far I’m worried because it seems unnecessarily wordy in the first 4 pages. The kind where the author is trying to be quirky and funny but it’s just word vomit
