As a closeted otaku, I'm having so much fun with this book. We have one piece tsundere in Sota and one piece kuudere in Masa. How to make things more interesting? Release the yandere and let him loose: Ken.

My brain shuts down on being bothered by non-consent/rape when I'm reading yaoi or fantasy.If this would have been contemporary fiction I would have gone ballistics at how this book has started and DNFed.

The suspense propelling the story so far has been: Will the bad guy succeed in hunting down and raping this kid? And when the inevitable happens, will the kid ENJOY being raped by his long-time bully? Spoiler: Yes he will. Sorry/not sorry if I ruined it for anyone. This has made me feel sick to my stomach. Am I the only one who doesn't think this is adorable?
