Status Updates From The Fog

The chaos in this book, love it! The characters have grown on me, but this book still occasionally makes me zone out a bit.
All in all, still great though!

This book is so far gory fun. Watching people go mad because of a weird fog is such a fun idea, and the crazy scenes. My god, this is a splatterpunk-ish 70's/80's paperback from hell at it's finest.
The characters aren't anything special but works good enough for this kind of novel.
But the splatter scenes. I can't stop thinking about them. It's like reading Crossed. IYKYK

yikes immediately after my last update one of the infamous scenes from this book happened on kindle it is exactly at 21% itsa group sex scene possibly pedo but i guess that depends on your take on what "boys" are. its not terribly triggery althgough in the 70s it no doubt was. it involves this gay pervy creeper character who does some creeper shit yuck and yikes! can we go back to fog murder psychos please?

oooh la la! er got ourselves an ancient 1970s britisheuphemism for queer men "poof" lol i love blasts from the past like that. it wasnt used a slur or anything just in an internal monologue in passing, very typical of the 1970s and not offensive to me in 2026 it was just an amusing memory! great book the last few dozen pages have been a bit of an uneventful slog but there some subtle hints of creeping wrongness
