By chapter 5, there's already multiple fat jokes and blatant fat phobia. I really hope the FMC is just insecure and not legitimately fat phobic. I usually love Amy Daws. I'm glad this was not my first introduction to her as I probably would have never continued reading her books.
In this case, I am going to give the book another chance and keep reading.
