I am not going to lie. The book opens terribly. First I honestly thought I was in the mind space of the king then I scrolled back up and went oh it’s humans. Then I realize it’s not and it’s an alien I guess speaking to the king.
Because it’s VERY human in how they are speaking. So that isnt a good start at all.
