Status Updates From French Kissing: Season Three

Maybe it’s bc bdsm isn’t… totally always my thing, or that the domme-y ones (Margot, Nadia) aren’t rlly my fav (tho actually, none of these women are, tbh) but I do not love this scene of them, or the way Nadia especially decides when to spank Juliette. Like, the connotations of what’s going on with them/when she wants to/etc, idk, smth abt it rubs me slightly the wrong way.

Also, maybe bc this was written years ago or smth, but these women being like, I’m conservative, actually (of fucking Course it’s Margot, Dominique I will [sort of] give a pass since she was born into it and that’s kind of her whole plot SINCE WE STILL DONT GET HER POV) but um, ew thanks in 2022, I hate it. Even tho I know next to nothing abt French politics.

Also, yet a third book without a Dominique pov? What the fuck is with this? She one of the main three couples and the literal only one we don’t get a pov for, it makes no sense.
