Alice and Kouki get some relationship development (and possibly a death flag). This after the cliche "7 wonders of the campus" horror comedy expedition. x)

I'm going to try and remember all the plots I can. There are so many stories in one volume. There's the accidental medical breakthrough. The particle accelerator reaction thingamajig. There's the cockroach story. The power suit upgrade to Titanic story. The optical camouflage. I'm probably forgetting something besides the regular school, UN, and home life stuff.

I thought maybe there'd be a plot twist with some of the students (Shingo specifically) being spies for, like, international bad guys. Like, Shingo is always asking for Kouki's mother's plans and data. I know he's an engineer in training, but still.

Pretty close to the end of this one I think. Kouki is a bit of a difficult character to pin down ability wise. He doesn't seem that adept at the finer points of engineering, he gets help from his allies, but then there's times where he says he can construct optical camouflage on his own or times where he tries to act the hero by doing complex machine shutdowns. IDK, is he a genius or lucky?

Megumi Aikawa is the rival. Alice Alford is the buddy who is a pharmaceutical specialist. Shingo Saito is an electrical engineer specialist I think. If you pass the exam in your specialist field, you get to skip that class. Kouki basically only has to do ethics, everything else will be elective (I'm guessing he'll take an interest in his friend's specialties? He already got in trouble looking up pharmacology stuff).

I think we've all been in a similar situation to Kouki at some point, maybe not as bad as not knowing the written language of the test, but not expecting a certain set up (multiple choice vs fill in the blank vs long answer format). It is kinda frustrating to see Kouki not tell his teacher what's wrong, but I can see again wanting to avoid letting it be known how dumb you feel. Reminds me of my Computer VB final. =[

So this is basically a book about misunderstandings, which normally I don't like, but that's because they're usually romantic based, and these are more comedy based. So we meet Saito and Alice (Aikawa; Kouki's last name being Arakawa sounds too similar to me). He has a rival girl (Megumi). We get our principal, assistant principal (who is also his teacher, and a myriad of unnamed bald guys protecting him.

What's neat about this one is Kouki knows pretty much everything from his past, even as he is sitting in his mother's womb. He uses knowledge he gained from his original world to impact this one, such as his knowledge of Quantum mechanics and such leading to breakthrough formulas his mom borrows to create insane inventions. The story of his ability gets out, and essentially proves the existence of multiple dimensions

I read quite a bit of this one yesterday... But I totally should have taken some notes. So, our main character is Kouki who dies because he stupidly tries to rush back to public transportation while on a trip by biking in the rain on a steep road, and he falls through / off a guard rail. Luckily, he wakes up as a baby in another dimension only slightly different from his own!
