Status Updates From Understory

This is an unexpected delight!

The pressure is mounting on Inga from all sides. Dreams are being squashed at an alarming rate. I’m feeling completely overwhelmed for her and wondering how she found the perseverance to continue overcoming compounding challenges. I’m curious how this turns out…

The determination and ingenuity of creating a writer’s retreat & competing with the big guns in this space is truly admirable.

The risks taken to chase a dream are commendable. It’s interesting to see the focus on environment, and protection of it, whilst simultaneously not realising that her own actions could be considered impactful by others. The observations of trees is astounding, beautiful, poetic - but the danger of them not fully understood.

It’s interesting to hear about the changes in the local area, and feel Inga’s frustration with the lack of environmental awareness in housing development. I admire their determination in chasing dreams, despite their own warnings of ‘we’re not ready’.

There’s more nomenclature information about trees than I expected, but I am enjoying how it is woven into the fabric of story and small details of what is happening in life. The observations are very poetic.
