Now things are getting interesting again. It’s odd, this book is giving me mixed messages overall in terms of interest level. The pacing is way off.

Okay, things are getting interesting again actually. But still, these characters don't feel memorable, at least to me...

The first bits were a slog to be honest. But when it gets to the magic parts and the actual plot, things are actually interesting. Too bad there's not a lot of it compared to the less interesting stuff.

I have to stop for a moment 😂 I know this scene probably won't play out like I think it will but it's still funny 😂
