Status Updates From The Escape

Barely into this book and these people’s lives are so miserable I can hardly take it! Maddie being abused. And more than likely Xander’s son. This is heavy.

Okay im going to keep reading but I have to complain about something for a second...... this is a bit spoilery but for real. The mc just finds out his 7 year old son has been sexually molested by his stepfather and now he just let a stranger that he literally met five minutes ago go give his 4 year old daughter a bath...... me thinks maybe this author is not a parent because no f-ing way would that be happening.

The story is far fetched and with a bit of a fairy tale quality; delicious so far !
