Read 5 chapters. So far, it starts as a usual dystopian story where we learn the arts and being different is a bad thing and we must accept rules and order and etc. Calista(MC) is 14, so based on her age, I think this a perfect entry book for Middle Grade readers to try Young Adult for the first time. I'll keep reading this book to see where it goes.

My next book to read. It's a much shorter book so I'm hoping to finish this in a couple of weeks. However, I'll let everyone know that the version I have is no longer in print. The author has pulled this version, rewritten it, and published it under a different cover, but the same name. Ok that's it 😊

People need to get their hands on this book. It's so precious! The characters are all so sweet and the story is so much fun. This is perfect book for creative young minds.

Wow, that was intense, followed by some introspective, and I love how Cat has grown in this story, totally turned around and it all feels real. Last chapter.

I love it when books make me think. About the creative arts and what kind of people would want to get rid of it and to the extent they want to out it. And the world that results in it. I really like the magic incorporated in this story. Now, I'm about to find out if my prediction about Wesley's sister is correct.

Seems like Cat is finding her voice. Now, what are you going to do about it?

So much for my previous theory. But looks like we're getting into the nitty gritty of magic tied into creative arts.
