i appreciate how fact based this is. the comparison between the west’s reporting on Chavez’s death (critical and approving of his death) and King Abdullah (sympathetic and naming him a peacemaker when he killed children, criminalized religious freedom + other human rights abuses) was crazy but insightful. it’s always about US allies vs enemies.

very interesting and clear so far, the history of Venezuela is very new to me. hearing them talk optimistically about UK’s Labour party following the footsteps of Venezuela’s then successful socialism is pretty devastating considering the actual BULL the Labour party is up to rn. i suppose it’s probably due to being part of the imperial core but 🧐 damn
