I do not like the way the book does not take into account that Roman polytheism coexisted with Celtic religion and Romans had no problem combining their gods with local gods.

I wish i could pronounce Gwen full name. This book is so interesting , even from the beginning. Of course I do not accept what happened but like the author said, it is something that must happen in order to understanding the story.
I love how Marcus is trying his best to be a better man to Gwen, to make him his lovet. But the different languages are a wall between them. And I feel like I'm gonna cry at the end...
