Shadow- I understand why you were never accepted into the guild now. You’re too soft hearted and immature. How do you get jealous when you never told this man you like him and your whole focus was to become his apprentice.

Honestly, this book sucked and I wish I hadn’t read it.

I hate the miscommunication so much…and the repetition of we don’t want to marry and have children and I’m the queen’s assassin is annoying.

Not much to say except not a fan of shadow’s character- it reminds me of a ‘trying too hard’ to be that badass female lead when she’s more whiny
