Conflict: My book is Character versus society. Ada is the main character and she is only ten and she escaped when the war was going on so she could get away from home because she did not have good parents.

CONFLICT: The main conflict in my story is character vs self. I think the conflict is character vs self because Ada is always disabled by her foot and it causes a lot of problems. An example is it caused was Ada was locked up in her room because her mom was ashamed of her foot. I know Ada's mom was ashamed of her foot because in the book she says" Then I got stuck with a cripple. And then a baby.." Ran out of room

CONFLICT: The conflict of this book is CHARACTER v.s. CHARACTER. Ada the main character is locked in their one bedroom apartment. Her mother is ashamed of her clubbed foot to let her out. " 'He's normal enough.' To *Jamie she said, 'You're not like Ada, you can go wherever you like.' This evidence shows that Ada is kept out of the world and she has to thank her mother for that.
*Jamie is Ada's brother
