Too many names, too many people 😵‍💫

I thought this was going to be a serious book about a woman trying to protect her KID younger sisters from danger and she falls into a bear shifter and they go on a journey..... Yeah this book is none of that (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠) Wacky as hell.

I don’t know if this makes sense but I feel like I’m on episode 7 of a tv show, this book is literally just a full season of content. Not generally a feel I get while reading but I don’t hate it

I don't know what this cover is. Kindle edition has a honey badger on the cover. And this book isn't about a man, anyway. It's about three powerful shifter sisters who make the world beg for its life. Some people flee the MacKilligan sisters, others are deluded. Either way, it's a humorous life of violence.

Am I missing something here? There must be at least fifteen characters and their mums who pop in for a fleeting scene or subplot that should’ve been cut already. I just don’t understand why nobody thought to pull Laurenston aside during the editing stage and say, “Hun, love the premise, it’s going to be a right romp with the girlies — but have you ever heard of Chekhov’s gun?”
