I'm sorry glad Carolyn's character found someone to compliment her.

The suspense and the follow up to old characters is great!!!

So far this book is interesting and it is linking previous characters and stories together. I like that the author has shortened the chapters. It makes it easy to get to a good stopping point for reading and picking the story back up.

Updates on old characters, Carolyn's evil self finding redemptive qualities and love, an attempted murder, political intrigue! I just love an Iris Bolling book. She never disappoints. There are about 5 authors I never rush through their books. She is one of them.

When I saw that author Iris Bolling wrote a story about Carolyn Roth, I purchased the book but did not even think about cracking my Kindle open to read it. Why? Because I remember Ms. Roth from the very beginning of the Heart Series and Carolyn was not nice at all, she should no remorse, love absolutely nothing for nobody but herself. But now I am seeing her under all of her mess to find a broken woman.
