Sittenfeld showed up on my college friend's social media post recently. Apparently, she's now divorced and living in Minneapolis. Anyway, I picked up Prep believing that this was a solid second read of a moderately enjoyable novel. I needed a predictable narrative. Guess what? I was confusing it with Commencement by Courtney Sullivan. Now, I am obligated to finish this book.

Can’t stand Lee. She’s helpless, spineless, and whiny. I find myself screaming at her to STAND UP and get over herself. HOLY FUCK she makes me so mad.
The only thing I’m enjoying right now is how well written the book is, but I honestly question if I should finish it every time I pick this book back up.
