This is not one for people who find disjointed historical essays boring (me) when they were expecting a more autobiographical story (also me) 🥲

You kind of get the feeling that this guy thinks he's a bit holier than thou because he's just sooooo good at being alone. But an interesting read so far. I wasn't expecting all of the historical and ecological tangents but I'm not surprised. I thought this would be more like a day-to-day journalistic sort of narrative
