The class difference storyline didn’t go in the typical secret forbidden relationship direction. McKenna was not likeable at all. He becomes a controlling asshole that comes back after a decade with an inferitority complex, holding a grudge with villainous plans. I liked Aline's fiery personality then she became dull after the timeskip and just accepted McKenna's disgusting behavior towards her.
