Status Updates From Top Choice

I want to dismiss this as another unbelievable feminist YA dystopia... But you can read it as an insight into what it means to have (gender-based, at least) privilege. Imagine if the main girl character was being drooled over by the guys, teachers checking out her slightly exposed midriff, the principal inviting her to his office... Yeah, that'd be creepy. So it is alright for girl-society to do it to "hawt" boys?

DNF'D at the start of chapter 7
I'm just not feeling this story. the lack of world building (ie I don't really get why society has Cards or has come to this point) is weighing on me. Plus this romance is a little insta for my tastes
