Status Updates From Saving Tanner (My Purpose, #1)

Oh look I'm reading books again. I missed gay romance.

“Relax, get comfy,” I say on my way back through the living room. “Want a water or soda or something? I have juice too, I think.” I offer, grabbing a water for myself from the fridge.

“Water, if that’s okay.” He answers softly.

If dialogue is tagged with something like "I offer" or "he answers" it should be a comma, not a period. I know it took me forever to learn that, but this book costs money.

The descrption sparked my interest, lulled me into a sense of this-is-going-to-be-a-heartwarming-read, and then dumped a bunch of unedited, amateur writing into my lap. I'm not saying the author doesn't have potential, but this . . . This is giving me a headache.

Sorry if this sounds rude, but it's the honest truth. This book needed at least a round or two of editing.

“I’ve had to take all the desert of the menu” oh really? 😂 This book has so much mistakes like this one in it, it’s getting ridiculous. It’s such a shame because I do really like the plot and the characters but seriously someone needs to edit this properly

I probably shouldn't have read this right after reading two 5 star books in a row...
