FINALLY!!!!

Why on earth hasn't she put her inheritance in the vault yet?!!! Carden is leaving right after the ball & even if he isn't planning on stealing from her, there are plenty of other people who would & the guards will be busy during the ball with all the royals visiting! SO STUPID!!!

I don't know why Trevor hasn't just told Mena he's NOT interested or why he doesn't just go to Raya 's door & shout that he loves her.

Ha! I was right! Trevor admits to himself that he's not sure he was ever truly in love with Ella! He "loved the idea of her". That's what I thought! I mean, he barely knew her when he " fell for her"!

Also, this whole miscommunication thing is driving me crazy!

I Do NOT trust Carden & I can't believe Raya let's him come into her room to see all the chests of treasure she has! How blindly trusting & STUPID! She's had time to go through all of it. She should put it in the King's vault as planned, esp with so many outsiders staying in the castle.

I guess now that Raya isn't broke, King Yurak will change his mind about her being good enough for his son to marry.

It took nearly 80% of the book for Trevor to realize he was in love with Raya & only after seeing her spend time with Carden. He fell in love with Ella right away despite never really getting to know her very well & he still wasn't over her 6 years later! Maybe he just didn't like being rejected. I never really thought he truly loved Ella. But he knows Raya so well & still didn't realize he was in love? It seems odd.

King Yurak is such a selfish asshole. The whole reason Trevor went looking for a wife was because King Yurak wanted to see him settled & have a chance to get to know his grandchildren. Without Raya, Trevor would be dead but even so, he tells Trevor he CAN'T marry her simply bc it wouldn't benefit his kingdom. Without her, their Kingdom WOULDN'T have a King to rule it once Yurak dies! He's SO ungrateful!

The lack of romance is starting to get annoying. They both like each other & both think the other only sees them as a friend, even though it's obvious to everyone else. Trevor needs to man up & tell Raya how he feels before he looses her.

I really don't like Trevor's father. It seems he still hasn't learned his lesson about trying to control his sons love life.
