Status Updates From Grey Eminence

THIS IS SO INTERESTING

I first tried to read "Grey Eminence" as a student, >20 years ago, but had to put it aside because of what struck me as a very condescending tone Huxley adopted when writing of Richelieu. Here comes the second attempt, and let's hope I've grown more tolerant in the meantime.
