In the question of salvation and the following Christ by a holy life, it is impossible for man to do it. A young convert is filled with joy, yet falls into sin and thinks-
I can do better
What is impossible with man is possible with God. Our weakness is reliance on self. We must surrender our reliance and trust it to God. In doing so, God will bring sanctification

Peter’s Repentance (Luke 22:61-62)
Peter was a devoted disciple of Christ. He was a man of absolute surrender, ready obedience, great faith, and spiritual insight.
Yet, even godly believers still wrestle with the flesh.
The root of true discipleship starts with denying self. We, much like Peter, must either deny self or deny Christ. It is the work of our blessed Lord Jesus to reveal the power of self. Humble me.

Separated unto the Holy Ghost (Acts 13:1-4)
The Holy Spirit is the director of the work of God upon the Earth. We believe more in speaking to men than we believe in speaking to God. Way too often make our plan and we think that we know what ought to be done.
We have simply to be faithful and obedient to the work of prayer and fasting behind closed doors. Then God will make his will known to us. What a blessing!

The fruit of the spirit is love
Has it been our experience that the more we have of the Holy Spirit the more loving we become? God is love & mankind needs love. Love is God‘s gift and conquers our selfish sinful desires. Love inspires intercession. Let love be more important than our doctrines & creeds.
“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have loved one to another.” John 13:35
