Love her writing style now- at first it felt like I was reading the beginning part of a recipe. But she clearly has her style down- anecdotal, bible references, and insightful. She has some puns in there too which I enjoy! I’m learning so much about something I didn’t know I could learn about :) makes sense also why Jackie loves it- it’s a travel journal + gives layers of significance to something simple!

Exceptional so far. There is a whole chapter on how harvesting figs relates to our satisfaction in God (particularly in the ordinary moments of life). So much clarity is brought to well know scripture passages, the symbolism of Christ’s miracles….all because Feinberg dove headfirst into a study of food!
