So far most neo scholastics make rather convincing connective and contrastive tissue for the big names, than arguments I find interesting on their own ground. The books big strength till here is the contextualisation of Husserl and Heidegger(later others) in their respective academic and discursive mileus. As a context sensitive, even centered exposition of aspects of their thought, this works well.

This book is on inter library loan and already overdue and I just started it, but dang on page 3 of the introduction and I think I finally found the book that is going to tell me what continental philosophy is
