Status Updates From Oblivion's Blade (Endless O...

The tangents and useless padding are killing me. A lot of the stuff happening throughout took too long because of how much useless and endless crap was added. Really could've used some editing to make the story actually flow. The extraneous crap hurts the story.

So far I enjoy the story and premise, but I'm getting annoyed quite often by the endless introspective soliloquy the MC has. He's in his head way too fuckin much. Less introspection, more focus on what's actually happening and the action. Less annoying introspection and corny villain rants, and more acting.

Picked this up because it was highly praised in a LitPRG group. *crossed fingers* Hope it's good!

Why can't Val just FUCKING go with it and start paying attention to these italics thoughts and accept the FUCKING quest. It is so BORING when a character denies his reality. Just get on with kicking ass. Lame!

SERIOUSLY, what an asshole. Val just blather on about something wicked, ignoring his senses, seeing trouble and not plainly letting everyone know. No wonder everyone thinks he is a burden. He is an IDIOT.

Val is a MORON. Who has a little diatribe and falls down after one blast. SERIOUSLY, then he sits around watching Elise get her ass kicked. There is an awful lot of flowery language and very little action going on here. It is very annoying.
