Alyssa was much more likable in the Darque Reckoning. Also, it made sense for me to be lost reading volume 2 of a run, but to be this confused at volume 1 is...kind of bad writing.

Thoughts after reading issue #1:
- I’ve never read a Shadowman comic before so I know nothing about it. This isn’t the best jumping on point because it seems to be a continuation of an old storyline. But it’s explained enough for me to figure it out.
- “Don’t you see? I’m not a hero, I’m a cage!” Nice! We love a hero with a tortured soul!
- I am obsessed with the colours. They’re beautiful!!
