Can we stop acting like Brie is redeemable

THIS REMINDS ME SO SO SO MUCH OF THAT NETFLIX FILM WITH MAYA HAWKE 'DO REVENGE' SAME VIBES AND EVERYTHING.
I kinda love kay Donovan, but i don't at the same time. Mostly love her, though. Tranquillity is a really weird place, and that chapter is weird, but I guess I'll figure it out sooner or later in the book.

Kay Donovan is SUCH a cutie at heart. I adore nola, too. Also, why do we have a love pentagon??....

Options: Spencer, Nola, Brie, Greg, and obviously Kay...
Am I mad?..not particularly, I just think it's a tiny bit unnecessary to be putting so much tension into every character Kay interacts with.
