"Wheels within wheels," Mouse said.
Which pretty much describes ever Glen Cook book ever written. I need a little while to digest this before writing a review. but wow, I love this ending.

Chapter 13
He had never heard of the Tanner Revolt or the Revanchists. He asked about them.
"They were going to turn things around. Bring back the golden age, or something. Unite Earth and make it the center of the galaxy."
Yikes, this sounds just like all the populist politics happening on earth right now!

So everyone knows that they are spies. Except that don't know the shows know there is another spy, who is spying on the spies, but if the known spies reveal the unknown spy to those that know the spies are spies then the lose their edge over the spy. The unknown one. Cook eh?!

Beginning of Chapter Five

All had come to a head in the now, with Moyshe benRabi, a flying knight, being sent to find a dragon hiding behind the eyes of the night.
Let the Buddy Read commence! I'm getting into this second volume much more quickly than the first, now that some of this universe is familiar to me.
Plus, it's so interesting to see the adult Mouse through someone else's eyes.
